Sample Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Embarkation in the Amazon
Upon arrival in Iquitos, you’ll be transferred by private vehicle to the port town of Nauta, where your elegant river vessel awaits. As you settle into your suite, enjoy welcome cocktails and a safety briefing before setting off into the lush waterways of the Amazon. As twilight falls, your adventure begins with a magical sunset fishing session for piranhas, followed by a guided night safari. Keep your eyes peeled for caimans, owls, tree frogs, and other nocturnal wildlife under the starlit canopy. It’s the perfect introduction to the wonders of the Peruvian Amazon.
Day 2: Jungle Canopy Walk & Skiff Exploration
Begin your day with a birdwatching excursion along Iquitos Caño, where vibrant species like macaws, toucans, and kingfishers fill the skies. Later, venture into the Amazon Natural Park for a thrilling canopy walkway experience high above the forest floor—offering sweeping views and close encounters with tree-dwelling fauna. In the afternoon, board a skiff to explore the narrow, wildlife-rich channels of Nauta Caño. Your guides will point out monkeys, sloths, and exotic birds along the riverbanks. The day ends with a peaceful ride back to the vessel as the jungle transitions into evening.

Day 3: Kayaking, Piranha Fishing & Trail Walk
This morning, cruise into the pristine waters of Yanayacu Pucate, one of the Amazon’s most biodiverse regions. Grab a paddle and kayak through calm creeks, keeping an eye out for pink river dolphins. Try your hand at piranha fishing—a fun and safe tradition in these waters. In the afternoon, disembark for a guided jungle walk at Fundo Casual, where local naturalists will lead you along hidden trails and teach you about medicinal plants, insects, and the ecology of the rainforest. Cap off the day with dinner on board and time to relax beneath the stars.
Day 4: Yarapa River & Farewell
Enjoy an early morning skiff excursion along the Yarapa River, home to an abundance of wildlife and traditional riverside communities. Learn about local life and possibly visit a small village to witness daily customs and craftsmanship. After returning to the vessel for breakfast, it’s time to pack and prepare for disembarkation. You’ll journey back to Iquitos with a heart full of memories and a deeper appreciation for the Amazon’s fragile beauty and immense biodiversity. Your unforgettable adventure ends with a transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
