Pricing Policy
At The Explorer’s Passage (TEP), we strive to be very transparent about expenses and trip costs in each itinerary & in our pre-trip emails.
Trip prices are in US Dollars (USD), and all payments are to be made in USD by major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, & Discover) or bank wire transfer. For more information on trip payments, please review our Terms & Conditions.

Single & Forced Single Supplements
Our trips are specifically designed to accommodate both solo and group travelers. Trips are priced at accommodation double occupancy by default, so for single travelers who would like their own room, cabin, and/or tent, there is an additional ‘single supplement’ charge that varies depending on the trip. If you request a roommate and we are unable to accommodate, then there is typically a ‘forced’ single supplement charge of 50% of the trip’s standard single supplement cost (and The Explorer’s Passage will cover the rest).
Price Increases
Unforeseen circumstances, including (but not limited to) rises in fuel prices or currency fluctuations, may cause the price of a trip to increase. If our costs change dramatically, travelers may be billed up to an additional $100 USD for the increase (and The Explorer’s Passage will absorb the rest).
